About the College of Pharmacy Research Day

The College of Pharmacy Research Day is an annual forum to highlight research projects of final-year undergraduate and post graduate students.

The primary goals of the Research Day are to showcase the various types of research in the College of Pharmacy, share our mutual interests, and develop intra- and interdepartmental collaborations.

The conception of this Research Day was created in year 2007 with the aim of preparing Pharmacy students for presenting their studies at scientific conferences. Thereafter, this effort has continued in which it became mandatory for all final-year students in the College of Pharmacy to participate in this Research Day by presenting their work.

Research Day provides a great opportunity to learn about diverse research ideas being conducted within the College of Pharmacy.

Message from the Dean

We are delighted to announce the 13th edition of the Research Day celebration at the College of Pharmacy. The graduation project course in our Pharm D curriculum has evolved into a pivotal milestone for every alum at our college, and it stands as a source of pride for us, continually striving for advancement year after year. We strongly believe in the significance of scientific research in all its forms, recognizing it as a key differentiator not only for our exceptional undergraduate students but also for our esteemed faculty members and researchers.

Our commitment to research extends across various levels, including laboratory work, field trips, surveys, and other forms of study. This approach is aimed at equipping our students with the essential skills required in the 21st century, aligning with our national vision for 2030, which emphasizes the importance of research, development, and innovation.

I extend my sincere gratitude to all members of the supervisory committees, faculty, and researchers who have generously dedicated their time to evaluate, assess, and support the success of this significant event. I trust that the informative and scientifically rich booklet accompanying this event will provide you with valuable insights into the College of Pharmacy and Research Day.

I invite each of you to join us in celebrating this research festival, which features a carefully curated and thought-provoking program.
